Ok, my computer is back in action, I have the sleek smooth and smarmy firefox 3.0, I work at FOcus House in Rochelle, and Jill and I have been dating since October.   I think that's it for now.

This thing is officially dead, methinks.

According to Burton Enterprises, I am ineligible for their job placement program.  According to a 72 question survey, where each question had 4 possible multiple choice answers, with questions ranging from job enthusiasm, work ethic, predilection towards fighting, previous and possible future theft, recreational drug use, and drinking, I scored below the cutoff.  I, who have never fought at work, never stolen, never been under the influence of any substance while at work, and is willing to conjure superior work ethic, am at risk for tarnishing the apparently blazing reputation of Burton Enterprises.  I think it's fucking hysterical that I failed, because the only reason I failed, was due to honesty.  I've been in a fight, I've smoked pot, I've been drunk, just not anytime I shouldn't be, or in anyway that was detrimental to my professional duties.  Honesty is the only thing that kept me from passing their survey.  Not only can you define the behavior of someone based on 72 multiple choice questions, but assuming that the ones with eligible scores are telling the truth seems mostly asinine. If you are looking for work at a temp agency, something hasn't quit fallen into place, and you are probably a fringe element ;therefore are a prime candidate for participation in fighting, drug use, alcohol use, and theft.  Moral of the story, lie your ass off.  Manipulation, and deceit are the key to success in this world.  I need a goddamned job so I can pay off my grandparents and mother, and get the fuck outta this society once and for all, beholden to noone.
